Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara is a Romanian German film and TV actress famous for her performance in movies such as Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. Alexandra was the sole daughter of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. At the age of 16she already been offered a variety of television roles which included the leading role in the film Downfall Youth without Youth Control. Her critically-acclaimed performance in the film made for television Der Tunnel paved way for many other noteworthy roles, including that of the secretary of Adolf Hitler Traudl Junge in the critically and commercially profitable Oscar nominated historical war film Downfall. The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex are also Oscar nominees featuring the divas. Alexandra was involved in a variety of important international and national projects throughout her career. They include the British biographical film Control Greek drama film The Dust of Time and the French historic miniseries Napoleon and many more. Also, she was on the jury of the Transylvania International Film Festival, as well as at the Cannes Film Festival.
