Aisling Bea

Aisling was born on 16 March 1984, at Kildare Ireland. She is one of Ireland's top-rated and well-known comedians. She has been on QI with Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh (born 16 March 1984) is a stand-up comedian and actress from Ireland. Bea started her stand-up career in 2011, after appearing in small parts on several Irish television shows and British series since the year 2009. As early as 2012, Bea was appearing on sketch comedy shows or sitcoms. After her victory in the Edinburgh Comedy Awards, she was scheduled for a range of panel programs. In 2016, and in 2017, she was the team leader on 8 Out of 10 Cats. She is also participant on 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Her parents are Brian as well as Helen O'Sullivan. Sinead, her older sister was born. In 2012, she was the second female to win the So You think you're Funny award. Bea was presented with the award to commemorate her father's passing. Aisling Claiodhnadh Sullivan was born 16 March 1984 in Kildare, County Kildare. Bea's father Brian, an equine vet who was killed after Bea turned three was the victim of self-harm. The news of his death only at thirteen years of age. Bea was her stage name. Bea is a tribute to her father. Bea published an opinion piece in The Guardian, published in 2017 on her journey with suicide. Bea along with her younger sister Sinead were raised by their mother Helen (nee Moloney) an elementary school teacher jockey trainer and former professional jockey. Their family was racing and horse-related. Bea began her career as a tourist guide at the Irish National Stud. But she soon realized that her love was doing and not racing.
